Snow & Ice in Spring? In Oklahoma?

Snow and ice on the weather radar in Oklahoma on April 10th.  Now it's heading for my garden in Fort Smith.  This is nuts!

I guess Winter will be immediately followed by Summer this year with little time for tender plants to get acclimated.  :-(
