I thought I'd share a few pics of what I'm putting in the raised bed greenhouse today...
Thursday and Friday we're supposed to have lows in the upper 30's. I'm glad I have protection in place for them. I'll be painting milk jugs and 2 litter bottles black and adding them to the beds to release heat in the overnights for those nights.
When the temp drops outside, I assume that means the same for them inside. Low 30's is not too cold for them? Is that because you have hardened them off before coming outside and the cover simply protects them from any frostbite?
The ground is warmer in the raised bed and the sheeting holds the heat. I'll also paint milk jugs black and they will slow release warmth in there in the overnight. I might even run an electric heater since it's going to get down to 32 for a low on Friday.
